Baseline Quilt: Beginner-Friendly Jelly Roll Quilt

Exciting news—the new Baseline Quilt is now available! This quilt is great for beginners and sews up super quickly.

This quilt is named for Baseline Road in Boulder, Colorado, at the base of the Flatirons, where I grew up vacationing as a child.

To make this quilt, you can use pre-cut jelly rolls or fabric strips, or cut strips from your stash. You don't need any backing fabric and you use pre-cut strips for the binding as well, so all you need are jelly rolls, backing fabric and batting!

In the pattern, I provide guidance on how to alternate your light and dark fabrics to get a lovely effect and I also give clear instructions on how to press your seams so that they will nest nicely, giving you lovely sharp corners between pieces.

If you are new to quilting or you are looking for a quick and satisfying make, this is the perfect quilt for you.

Carrie at Nightingale Longarm Quilting knocked it put of the park with this sweet butterfly panto that makes the back of the quilt extra special.
